TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: January 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the 0xKeep interface (the "Site") and connecting your digital wallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Site or the Protocol.

2. The Protocol vs. The Interface

0xKeep is a decentralized protocol running on the Base blockchain (the "Protocol"). The Protocol consists of immutable smart contracts that run autonomously.

The Site is merely a visual interface that helps you interact with the Protocol. We do not control the Protocol, and we cannot upgrade, pause, or reverse transactions on the Protocol once executed.

3. Non-Custodial Nature

0xKeep is purely non-custodial. We never take possession or control of your digital assets.

When you lock tokens, they are held by the Smart Contract, not by 0xKeep developers. You retain full ownership of the withdrawal rights via your wallet. If you lose access to your wallet (private keys), your assets will be unrecoverable. We cannot recover them for you.

4. No Financial Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, or legal advice. The visualization of "Locking" or "Vesting" is a technical utility, not an endorsement of any asset's safety or value.

5. Assumption of Risk

By using 0xKeep, you acknowledge the inherent risks of DeFi, including but not limited to:

  • Smart contract vulnerabilities or bugs.
  • Failure of the Base blockchain network.
  • Wallet security breaches (phishing, malware).
  • Regulatory changes in your jurisdiction.

You agree that you are using the Protocol at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

READ CAREFULLY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 0xKeep developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of funds, data, or profits, arising from your use of the Interface or Protocol.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Protocol for:

  • Money laundering or financing terrorism.
  • Violating sanctions (OFAC, UN, EU).
  • Interacting with illicit funds.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify the Interface (the website) at any time. However, the Protocol (the Smart Contracts) are immutable and cannot be changed by us after deployment.

The 0xKeep Protocol source code is open-source and verified on BaseScan.
We encourage all users to audit the code before depositing assets.
